Dr. Wayne Brockbank is a Principal of The RBL Group and a Clinical Professor of Business at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. At the Ross School of Business, Dr. Brockbank is the Director of the Center for Strategic HR Leadership and the Faculty Director and Core Instructor of the Strategic Human Resource Planning Program, the Human Resource Executive Program, and the Advanced Human Resource Executive Program. He is also the Director of HR executive programs in Hong Kong, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and India as well as the Michigan Global Program in Management Development in India.

Professor Brockbank completed his Ph.D. at UCLA and received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University.

His research and consulting focus on:
1.  linkages between human resource practices and business strategy,
2.  creating high performance corporate cultures,
3.  implementing business strategy through leadership.

Professor Brockbank has consulted in these areas with corporations on every continent, including: General Electric, Royal Mail, Cathay Pacific Airways, Unilever, Harley-Davidson, Citigroup, United Bank of Switzerland, Microsoft, IBM, British Telecom, Perez Co., Ericsson, ICI, Godrej Group, Cardinal Health, Deutsche Bank, RGMI, Medtronic, Rolls Royce, Verizon, Australian Public Service Commission, Walt Disney Corporation, General Motors, Saudi Aramco, Texas Instruments, BP, International Paper, Wal-Mart, Goldman Sachs, and Hewlett-Packard.

Dr. Brockbank has participated in dozens of workshops, including workshops with the Academy of Management, Linkage, The Conference Board, SHRM, Singapore Civil Service and others.
